So spoke to one of the trainers at the gym last night, and he made me promise to come work out twice a day for a while, because A: I need to get out of the house and B: nothing makes you forget your misery then working out, hardcore style. Dragged myself out of bed this morning, jumped into my workout gear and went. Did really slo mo cardio, nothing special, 20 minutes bike and 20 minutes crosstrainer. All the time playing Wordfeud of course, cause I’m a girl and we can multitask.
Got home, and felt like shit again, so rolled out my mat and did Shiva’s Fire Flow. Lots of push ups, energizing work and it ends with Bakasana and Parsva Bakasana. And oh my, my sadness must be doing some good, cause I managed Parsva today! For the first time! On both sides! Jeeeeh for me 🙂 And then I went into Savasana, and felt tears rolling down my cheeks. But that’s okay. It’s release. Well, I hope it is.
